Modelle in 9 und 10 Fuß sind speziell für Ruten mit 50-mm-Ringen und großen Big Pit Rollen angepasst, während die Sawn Off Skins für 6-Fuß-Ruten und kompakte Big Pit Rollen geeignet sind.

Mit den Velcro-Griffpatches und Sicherungsschnallen können mehrere 1 Rod Skins verbunden und mit dem optionalen Schultergurt (nicht enthalten) getragen oder an Soft Protect 2 und 3 Rod Skins angeschlossen werden, um die Rutenkapazität zu erhöhen.
